Happy Tales - BUDDY
Wheelchair for Buddy!!
(degenerative myelopathy)
“I would like to thank Mary Kay Dobbeck, a wonderful, caring Physical Therapist, for all the help I received for my Boxer boy, Buddy. He has degenerative myelopathy which slowly paralyzes his back legs. The first time Mary Kay came to check on him, she spent a good hour and a half with us doing physical therapy on him and showing me how to treat him every day.
Since her first visit with us, Buddy has been holding his own and the therapy seems to be helping his legs stay strong. I am so grateful that she came into our lives and I don’t know where I would be without her help and concern. It is very apparent that Mary Kay loves animals and both of my Boxers love her!
In the brief time since I have known her, she has assisted us with advice and helping us get a wheelchair for Buddy which I am convinced will give him a better quality of life and make him happy to be able to get around without falling down all the time.
Even though his disease is supposed to be untreatable and incurable, I have hope, thanks to Mary Kay, that he will get along a lot better than if we had never met her. I am very, very grateful that our veterinarian advised us to contact Mary Kay!”
